There are so many beautiful churches, and each one has its own unique style of service. That’s why we’ve put together a list of churches to visit for Christmas.
From traditional to modern services, beautiful architecture, and candlelit nights, there’s something for everyone on this list!
Southeast
Bellevue Baptist Church – Memphis, TN
Bellevue is one of our favorite places to visit for Christmas. The church is beautifully decorated and hosts a special Christmas Eve service with a spectacular choir. Take time to look into all their Christmas events for a visit. Bellevue also has a SINGING CHRISTMAS TREE! They use our Ticketing feature to make it easy to sign up and enjoy a life-changing Christmas story!
Peachtree Church – Atlanta, GA
Peachtree’s iconic steeple has been pointing heavenward for over 60 years. They celebrate the majesty of the Advent season with music, a message, and the beauty of sharing the light of Christ with candles. Enjoy a special choir and orchestra as you sing your favorite Christmas hymns. Come visit Advent at Peachtree.
Idlewild Church – Lutz, FL
Located just north of Tampa, Idlewild presents “Oh Christmas Tree,” an enchanting telling of the truth of Christmas. Idlewild’s own cast, choir, and orchestra will inspire joy to all who attend. For more information and tickets, click here.
First Baptist Hendersonville – Hendersonville, TN
This year, First Baptist Hendersonville is welcoming its community with “Movie Nights!” This is a great opportunity to invite someone who may not normally come to church to enjoy a Christmas classic. You can register yourself and your friends here.
First Presbyterian Church of Orlando – Orlando, FL
This December, First Presbyterian Orlando is basking in His peace and wonder, and they’d love for you to join them. Invite friends and family and join in the worship of our King! There are three different types of services to choose from, so pick your favorite or check them all out here!
Texas
Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano, TX
The Gift of Christmas is a Prestonwood tradition and has become one of the highlights of the Christmas season, with thousands of guests attending every year. This visually stunning multimedia event is complete with special effects, a nearly 1,000-member cast and choir, a live orchestra, flying angels, and much more! First Baptist Dallas – Dallas, TX
You may have heard of the tragic fire that struck First Baptist Dallas this summer, but that’s not going to prevent them from celebrating the birth of our Savior! You won’t want to miss out on their Dallas Christmas Spectacular with musical guest Michael Tait and the Ballet Magnificat. Grab a ticket and support their historic ministry as they continue to rebuild their building and transform the world with God’s Word… one life at a time.
Highland Park United Methodist Church – Dallas, TX
The Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC) is a beautiful church worth visiting during the Christmas season. They offer various Christmas services, all of which are sure to be enjoyable and inspiring. HPUMC is one of the most welcoming churches around. No matter what your background or beliefs, you will be welcomed with open arms at this church. Everyone is welcome to join in on the Christmas festivities and celebrate the holiday season together. Concord Church – Dallas, TX
Concord is a vibrant community dedicated to spiritual growth and service and has been a cornerstone of faith in the Dallas area for years. Their Annual Concord Christmas Cantata is sure to be a beautiful presentation to uplift your spirit. Visit and experience the wonderful worship of this passionate congregation.
St. Ann Catholic Parish – Coppell, TX
Advent at St. Ann’s is focused on keeping Christ in Christmas. When you visit, you’ll immediately experience the intentionality and boldness of their ministry to love Christ and others. With services in both English and Spanish, you are welcome to join them at Mass throughout the week this Christmas season.
Midwest
Cross Church – Rogers, AR
Cross Church has three campuses across Northwest Arkansas, and they are passionate about reaching out to all for Jesus Christ. For Christmas, all services will be at their Pinnacle Hills Campus to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year: the birthday of our Savior! The hope of Jesus will be clearly presented through worship in each service and is designed for the entire family to be together. So, bring your friends and celebrate!
Grace Church – Akron, OH
Grace Church is known for its dynamic, multi-campus ministry and deep commitment to community outreach. This Christmas season, Grace Church is hosting loads of Christmas events for all ages. Village Bible Church – Sugar Grove, IL
Village Bible Church (VBC) is an evangelical church in the western suburbs of Chicago that strives to discover, develop, and deploy disciples of Jesus. Each of their six locations is led by a campus-focused teaching pastor and a team of elders who pastor and care for the church members on a 1:1 basis. Christ Church – Oak Brook, IL
If you’re looking for a church that’s both beautiful and welcoming, Christ Church is the perfect place for you. Carol Fest Christmas Concert is a must-see, with a professional orchestra and soloists to stir your soul through Christmas Carols. Seats fill up quickly, so arrive early to get a good spot.
This Christmas Eve, the services will focus on celebrating the birth of Jesus and His glory. Childcare is available for children ages four and under, and there is a sensory room for kids with disabilities. You can pick the best service for you and preregister your children here.
First Baptist Tulsa – Tulsa, OK
First Baptist Tulsa is another historic church and is located in the heart of downtown Tulsa. The church has been a part of the city for over 100 years and is known for its beautiful architecture and stunning stained-glass windows. This year, enjoy Southern hospitality and heartfelt worship together for a unique Christmas experience. This Christmas Eve, invite your family and friends to worship through music, candle lighting, a children’s message, and more. Oh! Trinity Church Wall Street – New York City, NY

Their “Sing Choirs of Angels” is a Holiday Sing-Along that presents beloved carols in the majestic setting of this historic church. Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church – Philadelphia, PA
As one of Philadelphia’s largest and most vibrant churches, Enon Tabernacle Baptist brings energy and passion to its Christmas celebrations. Valley Baptist Church – Bakersfield, CA
Valley Baptist is yet another incredible church to visit during the holiday season. The church is beautifully decorated with a large Christmas tree and nativity scene. The services are always incredibly moving, and the music is impactful. We highly recommend visiting Valley Baptist Church if you’re looking for an unforgettable Christmas experience. They offer English and Spanish events for the whole community to enjoy!
Salem Alliance Church – Salem, OR
Salem Alliance Church is a great place to celebrate Christmas! They offer a traditional service with candlelight, carols, and Scripture readings. The Christ-centered message will fill you with hope and joy this holiday season. They offer so many experiences during the Holiday Season that it’s difficult to name them all. Seabreeze Church – Huntington Beach, CA
Nestled in sunny Huntington Beach, Seabreeze Church blends West Coast charm with heartfelt worship. Christmas at Seabreeze invites families to gather indoors and out for a creative telling of the birth of Jesus. Living Word – Mesa, AZ
